Our Service uses Google OAuth to provide core features. We specifically request access to See, edit, create, and delete your Google Sheets spreadsheets.
How we use this data: Catardot uses the Google Sheets API to automatically create a dedicated spreadsheet in your Google Drive to store your journaling entries. We only store the Spreadsheet ID in our database, which is fully encrypted at rest. We do NOT store your actual journal content on our servers.
We may use Personal Data for:
• To provide and maintain the "Homework for Life" journaling service
• To manage Your Account and authentication via Google
• To execute authorized API calls to your personal Google Sheets
• To ensure the security of encrypted access keys
We retain Personal Data only as long as necessary. Since your journal data is stored in your own Google Sheets, you maintain full control and ownership. You have the right to delete your account, which will remove the encrypted Spreadsheet ID from our records.
We use industry-standard encryption to protect sensitive identifiers. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
